Cynthia Labahn
Cynthia Labahn

Born July 20, 1947, Cynthia was the daughter of Glen and Merty Greeson of Houston, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Klein High School and worked for Gulf Oil in Houston and UTMB Health’s John Sealy Hospital in Galveston.
It was in Galveston that Cynthia met the love of her life, Albert Labahn, on a fateful blind date — love at first sight. The two married and shared 48 wonderful years together.
A devoted follower of Christ, Cynthia’s faith guided every aspect of her life. She raised her children in His Word, faithfully attending First Baptist Church of Bayside.
In 1995, Cynthia and Albert moved to Granger, where they enjoyed 30 joyful years in the First Baptist Church of Granger family. They shared a passion for antiques – running an antique restoration business – and took pride in their garden, especially Cynthia’s roses. She loved animals and cherished the companionship of the dogs she and Albert welcomed over the years.
On May 2, 2025, Cynthia died. Her family is at peace knowing she rests safely in His presence and that they will one day be reunited.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Albert Labahn; daughter Dena Labahn of Corpus Christi; sons Joseph Labahn (wife Lauren Alexander-Labahn) of Sunset Valley and Benjamin Labahn of Killeen; and six grandchildren: Danielle Arispe, Hannah Penney, Madison Labahn, Vivienne Labahn, Mirabelle Labahn, and Theo Labahn.
