Aileen Hill

She was born in Miles, Texas on March 28, 1936, to Ervin Ramthan and Gertrude (Kurtz) Ramthan.
Aileen grew up on a farm near Holland, Texas, and attended business school in Austin after her high school graduation. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, the Internal Revenue Service and retired with 20 years of service from the Austin Independent School District.
She married James Maynard in 1958 and lived in Austin for 46 years raising three children, working and being a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church.
After 38 years of marriage, James passed away.
In 2001, she relocated to Round Rock.
In 2004, she met a very special gentleman named Herschel Hill.
They were married in 2005, and she became a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Taylor. Aileen enjoyed life and was thankful for her many blessings in life.
Aileen is survived by her husband, Herschel Hill. She is also survived by her brother Elton Ramthan (Pat); son David Maynard; daughter Linda Henderson (Tommy); son Randy Maynard (Joyce); stepdaughter Debbie Johnson; granddaughters Alicia Currie, Heather Stanford (Austin), Kaitlyn Maynard and Emma Maynard; great granddaughter Presley Sanford; step granddaughters Valarie Carlson and Jennifer Williams; step grandson David Johnson (Sara); and step great grandchildren Parker and Sybil Williams.
Aileen is preceded in death by a very special aunt and uncle Theodore and Alma Bethke; her parents; her husband of 38 years, James Maynard; a sister Lydia Hentschel; daughter-in-law Karen Maynard; step grandson Cameron Tankersley; grandson-in-law Patrick Currie; stepson-in-law Glenn Johnson; and sister Evelyn Glaser.
