Georgia Albina Maly Anderson Tyroch died in Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at the age of 96.

Georgia was born Aug. 25, 1929, to Edwin Maly and Albina Simcik Maly in Williamson County, Taylor.

She attended school at Columbia Elementary School and graduated from Taylor High School in 1946, attending one year at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. On June 14, 1952, she married Alfred “Monnie” Emanuel Anderson. To this union were born a son, Mark David; and daughters, June Daniels, Sarah Koslovsky and Lois Kubiak. Monnie and Lois preceded her in death as well as Mark David, a son, who died in infancy.

On January 15, 2000, Georgia married Jerry Tyroch of Temple. Jerry preceded her in death in 2008.

Also preceding her in death were her parents (Edwin and Albina Maly); her sisters (Annie Michalik, Elsie Van Lehn, Elizabeth Zetak and Sylvia Sebesta); one brother (Rev. Milton Maly); brothers-in-law (Rev. Albert Michalik and Stanley Zetak); and son-in-law (Freddie Kubiak).

Survivors include her two daughters (June Daniels and Sarah Koslovsky); son-in-law (Royce Daniels); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepchildren (Grady Tyroch and wife Jan; Jerry Tyroch, Jr. and wife Martha; Elizabeth Steger and husband Kevin); brother-in-law (Leroy Sebesta); sisterin- law (Jean Maly); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Georgia was a member of the Taylor Brethren Church and Seaton Brethren Church.

She loved teaching and entertaining children. While able to drive, she transported the elderly and enjoyed their visits. Her pastime was doing handwork (sewing and crafting) and she enjoyed cooking. Funeral service will take place at Taylor Brethren Church with the Rev. Ken Hawes officiating. The burial will be in the Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor.
