Born in Taylor, Lee was a proud graduate of Taylor High School, Class of 1975. He went on to earn his degree from Texas State University and spent many years building a career in information technology, working in Austin and Friendswood before retiring to the quiet countryside outside of Weimer.

Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, F.E. “Fritz” and Alma Lee (Joiner) Holman, and Adolph and Amelia (Walla) Ripper; his parents, Margie Lou (Ripper) Holman and Calvin Lee Holman Sr.; and his sister, Lacy (Holman) Zycha.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lou Ann Holman of Weimer; his sons, Clayton Holman and Jared Holman and wife Ericka; his stepdaughter, Ashley (Miller) Wilson and husband Danny of Covington, Louisiana; his brother, Laine Holman and wife Christi of Taylor. He is also survived by his nephews and niece, Kyle Zycha, Brent Holman, and Gail (Holman) Coronado, along with their families, as well as several cherished grandchildren.

Lee will be remembered for the life he built, the family he loved, and the many years he shared with those closest to him.
