George was a hardworking man who owned and operated his own upholstery business. He enjoyed playing bingo, sharing with neighbors and was known for his humor, kindness and generosity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernabe and Dolores Gonzales; his spouse, Pauline; and his son, Andy. He is survived by his children Mary, Tonie, George, Janie, Virginia, Ofelia, Gloria, Sandra, Jessie, Josie and Johnny, along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Life Viewing: Monday, March 2, 2026, at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, Texas; Visitation 5–7 p.m., Rosary 7 p.m.

Memorial Service: Tuesday, March 3, 2026, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 111 W. Rio Grande St, Taylor, Texas.

Burial Ceremony: St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 410 Old Thorndale Road, Taylor, Texas, immediately following the service.

George’s love, laughter, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
