James “Jimmy” Taisler, 76, of Bartlett passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026.

Jimmy proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning honors including the Bronze Star Medal. Known throughout Central Texas as “Painter,” he owned and operated a painting business for more than 30 years and later worked as a respected construction supervisor.

He is survived by his children, Clinton Wesley, Courtney Schmidt, and Lauren Roberson (Daryl); grandchildren Morgan Stautz (Marcus), Isabella Roberson, and Abigail Roberson; and brothers Ben and Jesse Taisler. View full obituary on Providence Funeral Home’s website
