Epimenio Olguin

Epimenio Olguin lost his second battle with cancer at the age of 76 on May 15, 2026, at 1:05 a.m. He was born March 24, 1950, to Marcos and Mary Olguin Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Mary and Antonio Olguin; brothers Adam, Lupe and Steve Olguin; and Great Grandson Arden Myles Taisler.

He is survived by his daughter Mary and husband Joseph Haas; son Jerry Olguin; grandchildren Brittn (wife Allison) Taisler, Mathew (wife Lauryn) Taisler, Marcy Rodriguez and fiancé Matthew Adams, Nathan Haas and fiancé Breanna Sanchez, Isabella Trevino and Sa’mya Olguin; great grandchildren Kayla, Paige, Archer and Aven Taisler.

He is also survived by his brothers Marcos Jr (wife Josie) Olguin, Patrick (wife Janie) Olguin, Richard Olguin and Isaac Olguin; and sisters Basilia Palomo (partner John); Berta Reyes, Mary Ann Trevino and Epifania Strait.

Visitation will be at Providence Funeral Home June 16, from 5-7 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary from 7-8 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taylor June 17 at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
