Born to Willie and Violet Glover in Taylor, Texas, she graduated from Taylor High School in 1971 and married her high school sweetheart, Al Gamez, in March 1972; they shared over 54 loving years together in Austin, raising their children Scarlett and Sean. A devoted educator, Belinda spent her career helping children learn and grow, know for her kindness, honesty, fairness, and tireless work ethic. She loved reading, music, history, travel, and especially the holidays. Christmas held a special place in her heart for family traditions and treasured treats. Strongwilled yet compassionate, she spoke up for her convictions and cared deeply for others; her faith in the Lord guided her life and brings comfort to her family now. Belinda is survived by her husband Al; daughter, Scarlett Hudgins (Mark); son, Sean Gamez (Alita); and grandchildren Zarick Gamez, Mason Montes, Trinity Benedict (Joseph), Payton Hudgins, and Ava Gamez. Her legacy lives on in her family, the children she shaped, and all who felt her unwavering love and loyalty.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00am at Beck Funeral Home on 4765 Priem Lane in Pflugerville with a reception following.
