Bernice is survived by husband Dominic, celebrating 42 years of marriage. Bernice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend known for her dedication to her family and her passion for gardening and cooking. She took great joy in working outdoors and was celebrated for her special cookbook, a collection of favorite recipes from family and friends, which lovingly prepared and passed down to her daughters.
She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sandoval, where she found great comfort and community. Her faith and the support of her church family were central throughout her life.
Bernice was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Leona Lehmann. She is survived by her loving family: daughters Tonia Wilson (Lee), Melissa Hein (Justin), and Robin Hall (Craig); sister Janet Monroe; grandchildren Zane, Brant, Kellis, Luke, Victoria, and Alexandra; along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply.
A family graveside service will be held to honor Bernice’s life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Sandoval Cemetery fund, a cause close to Bernice’s heart, reflecting her lifelong commitment to her community and faith.
