At 11:38 p.m., police made contact with a 58-year-old Taylor man in the 1000 block of Dellinger Drive and found him in possession of methamphetamine. He has been charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, outside a drug-free zone, a second-degree felony.
APRIL 30
During a traffic stop at 12:23 a.m. in the 800 block of East Fourth Street, officers discovered a 30-year-old Taylor man was wanted on two outstanding warrants out of Taylor. He was placed under arrest for the warrants, which charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, and assault with injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
MAY 1
A 25-year-old Taylor man probably learned the hard way to keep his hands to himself. At 9:45 p.m., Taylor police responded to the 300 block of South Main Street for a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed the man physically assaulted an elderly subject. The man was placed under arrest and charged with injury to elderly, a third-degree felony.
