At 11:38 p.m., police made contact with a 58-year-old Taylor man in the 1000 block of Dellinger Drive and found him in possession of methamphetamine. He has been charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, outside a drug-free zone, a second-degree felony.

APRIL 30

During a traffic stop at 12:23 a.m. in the 800 block of East Fourth Street, officers discovered a 30-year-old Taylor man was wanted on two outstanding warrants out of Taylor. He was placed under arrest for the warrants, which charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, and assault with injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
