TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

JULY 5

Officers with the Taylor Police Department conducted a warrant service in the 300 block of Mallard Lane at 12:52 p.m. A 52-year-old Rockdale man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Milam County charging him with assault family violence – strangulation, a thirddegree felony.

At 9 p.m., Taylor police conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Old Granger Road. A 20-year-old Elgin man driving a gray sedan was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
