JULY 7
Taylor Police Department officers at 8:20 a.m. in the 900 block of West Second Street detained a 47-yearold man charged in warrants with two Class C misdemeanors –– failure to maintain financial responsibility and driving while license invalid.
JULY 8
A traffic stop at 9:11 a.m. in the 700 block of Southwest Carlos G.
Parker Boulevard turned into a detour for a 52-year-old Taylor man charged in a city warrant with violation of a designated city truck route. He was delivered to the Taylor Municipal Court and released to the court staff.
JULY 9
After responding to a disturbance at 9:48 a.m. in the 700 block of Booth Street, officers were informed a 34-year-old Taylor woman physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. She was charged with assault with injury/family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.
JULY 10
Law officers at 3:04 p.m. in the 500 block of Sloan Street arrested a 30-year-old Taylor man who had five outstanding warrants. The warrants include Williamson County for bond forfeiture-assault with injury/family violence, a Class A misdemeanor; and four out of Taylor — unlawful restraint, a Class A misdemeanor; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony; abandon/endanger a child, a state-jail felony; and continuous violence against family, a thirddegree felony. Responding to a report of an unwanted person at 4:58 p.m. at Bealls Department Store, 3100 N.
Main St., officers found a 25-yearold Taylor man who had been banned from the outlet under a criminal trespass warning. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
A 19-year-old Taylor man charged in a Travis County warrant with accident involving serious bodily injury or death, a third-degree felony, was picked up by local officers at 7:09 p.m.in the 3500 block of CR 366.
JULY 11
Taylor police responding to a disturbance at 8:41 a.m. in the 700 block of Big Sur Trail arrested a 53-year-old Taylor man, charging him with violations of conditions of bond, a Class A misdemeanor.
JULY 12
When officers at 10:22 a.m. stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of West MLK Jr. Blvd., they discovered a 46-year-old Taylor man had an outstanding warrant out of Milam County for probation violation-possession of dangerous drugs, a state-jail felony. In addition, he was charged with another state-jail felony — possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram — after police found suspected methamphetamines.
At 7:51 p.m. in the 300 block of East Eighth Street, officers apprehended a 36-year-old man named in a warrant out of Taylor for theft of more than $100, a Class C misdemeanor, and criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
JULY 13
At 9:03 p.m. Taylor police responded to a convenience-store theft in the 300 block of West Lake Drive. Officers located an 18-yearold Taylor man leaving the store, but when they tried to arrest him, the teen bolted. He was caught, handed a Class C misdemeanor citation for theft and was charged with evading arrest on foot, a Class B misdemeanor.
