The Taylor Police Department and Curbside Coffee have joined forces to hold an informal time for residents to meet and talk with officers over a cup of coffee.
The latest edition of “Coffee with a Cop” is set for Thursday, Aug. 14, from 8:30-10 a.m. at Curbside Coffee, 114 W. 2nd Street. The public can come by and get a complimentary cup of coffee during the event.
“We are appreciative of Curbside Coffee’s supportive efforts to host ‘Coffee with a Cop,’” said Taylor Police Chief Henry Fluck. “The Taylor Police Department looks forward to visiting with residents in an informal setting to discuss crime or safety issues. We are encouraging residents to meet with us and enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee, compliments of our host, Curbside Coffee.”
Taylor Police Officers will come and go throughout the 90-minute period, according to Fluck. Opportunities for the public to take photos with officers will be available.
