A staple in the Texas Country Music scene will close its doors in October after more than 100 years of history.
The Old Coupland Inn and Dance Hall's final show will take place Saturday, Oct. 11, according to owner Abbey Road. The final show will feature Kenny Orts.
Various music legends such as George Strait, the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pat Green and Kevin Fowler, to name a few, have performed at the dance hall. More on this story can be seen in the Wednesday, Aug. 13, E-Edition of the Taylor Press.
