AUG. 4
At 7:52 a.m. in the 400 block of Gano Street, officers arrested a 45-year-old Taylor woman wanted on an outstanding warrant charging her with theft of more than $100, a Class B misdemeanor.
AUG. 5
A visit to the links sent a man to the clink after officers arrested an unwanted visitor about 3:20 p.m. at Mustang Creek Golf Course, 1100 Beech St. A 60-year-old Taylor man barred from the property decided to make a stop anyway and was detained by police. After being taken into custody, the intruder was charged with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
AUG. 7
Police arriving at 3:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Porter Street arrested a 30-year-old Taylor man wanted on an outstanding city warrant for harassment, a Class B misdemeanor.
AUG. 8
At 6:24 a.m. in the 4000 block of Old Georgetown Road, Taylor police pulled over a 33-year-old motorist who had multiple suspensions on his driver’s license. The Taylor man was charged with driving while license invalid with previous convictions, a Class B misdemeanor.
AUG. 9
Officers at 3:05 a.m. rushed to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Oak Street and confronted a pair of 19-yeaold men in an auto. An investigation revealed one discharged a round from a firearm in a threatening manner from the vehicle, while the other was driving under the influence. Officers arrested both Taylor teens. The driver was charged with DUI, a Class B misdemeanor, and the passenger was charged with disorderly conduct-discharge firearm, a Class A misdemeanor.
