The city has a new downtown and tourism director.
Sean Johnson started Monday, Aug. 25, according to a prepared release. Johnson last served as tourism director for Visit Cleveland, Mississippi, in the city of the same name, officials said.
He also is the former executive director of the Chickasaw Development Foundation in Houston and chief marketing officer for New Albany, Mississippi.
