Arrests made in June Hutto shooting

HUTTO — Three teens are behind bars for their suspected roles in the nonfatal shooting in June of another teenager, officials said.

The Hutto Police Department served arrests warrants on an 18-yearold and two 17-year-olds, but did not disclose their names, the exact charges or their bonds in a release Tuesday.

Officers did say none of the suspects live in Hutto.

The case stems from an incident June 1 when officers responded to a shooting at a residence in the 200 block of Phillips Street.

A juvenile male suffered a gunshot wound and was rushed to an area hospital but has since been released.

Investigators said evidence and information developed during the probe revealed connections to cases under investigation by other law enforcement agencies.
