Police search ongoing following incident

Police are continuing to search for a suspect or suspects following a bomb threat at the H-E-B Thursday that closed the store for two hours.

According to authorities, the threat came in about 1:30 p.m., with an all-clear sounded at 3:35 p.m. after nothing was found inside the store, 100 Carlos G. Parker Blvd. N.W.

Officers with the Taylor Police Department evacuated the building. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and Round Rock Police Department also responded.

The city also put out an emergency notification to let residents know about the incident.

About 3 p.m., a Round Rock officer and K-9 dog performed a sweep of the building but did not find anything.

An update from the city said the incident remains under investigation.
