Taylor piano teachers Anita Volek and Debbie Matthys held a joint Christmas recital, featuring piano solos and duets of traditional holiday favorites. The event took place Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Worship Center of First Baptist Church, 2500 Mallard Lane. Matthys is also a district testing coordinator at Taylor Independent School District and Volek is the director of the Taylor Educational Enrichment Foundation.
