TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

JAN. 29

At 11:25 a.m., Taylor Police Department officers apprehended a 28-year-old woman in the 2000 block of West Second Street wanted on two city warrants. She was charged with assault with injury/ family violence, a Class A misdemeanor, and also with a probation violation for possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.

At 12:43 p.m., city officers responded to a theft report at Walmart, 3701 N. Main St. A 38-year-old Taylor man suspected of using the five-finger discount to “liberate” certain items without paying was charged with theft of less than $100 with previous convictions, a Class B misdemeanor.

FEB. 1

At 2:15 p.m., Taylor police pulled over a 38-year-old man in the 500 block of North Main Street and charged him with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.

At 9:39 p.m., Taylor police responded to the 1300 block of West Seventh Street and arrested a 46-year-old man suspected of stealing a package delivered through the mail. He was charged with mail theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
