Barbara Wuthrich Obituary
Barbara Ann Wuthrich passed away on Feb. 8, 2026.
Barb was born in Peekskill, New York on July 14, 1937, the only child of Beryl and Betty Davis. She grew up and attended school in Fort Collins, Colorado. After graduating from high school, she joined the Navy where she was trained as a Dental Technician.
While in the Navy, she met the love of her life, Ken Wuthrich. They were married on Feb. 15, 1957, in Bethesda, Maryland. Ken and Barb had two children, Dan and Cheryl.
After Ken retired from the Navy, the family moved back to Taylor, Texas. Barb worked for State Farm Insurance in Austin and retired in 1997 after 20 years of service with the company. She and Ken then moved to Granite Shoals, where they were both active members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls.
Barb is survived by her son Dan and his wife Cheryl of Albuquerque, NM, her daughter Cheryl Browning and her husband Ron of Granite Shoals, grandchildren Landon Browning and his wife Kate, Matthew Wuthrich, Jaron Browning, Amy Walker and her husband Caleb; and great-grandchildren Noah and Leah Browning; and Alaina, Seth and Josiah Walker.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
