The city of Taylor is hosting a town hall meeting to discuss the Active Transportation and American Disabilities Act Transition Plan.
The town hall will take place Tuesday, March 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the Dickey-Givens Community Center, located at 1015 1015 Martin Luther Eing Jr. Blvd. The plan is designed to make Taylor’s streets, sidewalks and trails safer as well as more connected and more accessible for everyone.
At the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to review the draft and provide additional feedback.
The Active Transportation and ADA Transition Plan covers the entire City of Taylor and will serve as a guide for future investments in sidewalks, trails, and bicycle facilities while ensuring accessibility improvements align with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
