Chick-fil-A heading to Taylor

Chick-fil-A heading to Taylor

The old Applebee’s building is coming down to make way for a new Chick-Fil-A at 103 NW Carlos G. Parker. The project was recommended for approval by the Taylor Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday.

The site requires a special use permit for the drive through feature. The layout shows there will be no direct access from Carlos G. Parker Blvd or from Main Street. The only access will be from within the Wal-Mart Supercenter shopping center lot.

The application for the special use permit will face City Council for final approval. The project application was submitted by Matthew Walls, project manager for Pape-Dawson Engineers.
