Man’s death labeled homicide

The “suspicious” death of a man whose body was discovered last weekend is now classified as a homicide, Taylor police said.

Officers are seeking the public’s assistance to develop more leads in the case, according to a city news release.

Alfred Olguin Flores, 48, was found about 5 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in the 1000 block of Price Street.

Though authorities so far remain tight-lipped about the incident including how the victim died, additional information will be released to the public as it becomes available, officials said.

“The investigation is ongoing and is being investigated as a murder,” according to a release from the Police Department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Aaron Koch at [email protected] or call 512-3525551 ext. 2228.

The Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the victim’s identity, officials said.

Taylor officers are working on the case with cooperation from the Texas Rangers, the Williamson County Crime Scene Unit, the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office and a Williamson County death investigator.
