Six Taylor softball players were named to the District 24-4A all-district team.
Highlighting the selections was junior third baseman Anaih Arroyo. One of the Lady Ducks’ top hitters and fielders, Arroyo was the lone Taylor player who earned first team honors.
Sophomore pitcher Payton Burrow earned second team honors. Burrow was the Lady Ducks’ leader in the pitcher’s circle.
Four Lady Ducks earned honorable mention accolades. They were seniors Alayna Ortiz and Chandler Woodruff, and sophomores Mia Bendure and Kennedy Pleasants.
Taylor finished 10-18-1 overall and 3-9 in 24-4A play. The Lady Ducks finished in a tie for sixth place with Marble Falls.
