Taylor officials are making amendments to its Land Development Code.
The updates, which come a week after residents learned at last week's city council meeting zoning restrictions cannot be changed through popular vote or petition, are open for public comment. The guide is meant to restate what the LDC covers, what would change and why it matters to residents.
The eight amendments revolve around Data Centers; Accessory Dwelling Units; Short-Term Rentals; Compatibility and Height; Home Occupations; Nonconformities or Grandfathered Properties; Parking Standards; and Neighborhood Plan Thresholds.
More on this can be seen in future editions of the Taylor Press or online at www.taylorpress.net.
