JULY 20
At 5:09 a.m., Taylor Police Department officers arrested a 61-year-old man at Power Food Mart, 600 N. Main St., following a reported disturbance. After learning the individual had a criminal trespass warning barring him from the premises, he was charged with Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass.
JULY 21
At 8:08 a.m., Taylor police arrested two people, ages 28 and 38, and charged them each with Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass after answering a call for unwanted persons in the 600 block of Washburn Street. Both had active criminal trespass warnings prohibiting them from being on the property.
At 11:58 a.m., city police pulled over an auto in the 1000 block of Northwest Carlos G. Parker Boulevard and arrested a 37-year-old woman wanted on a U.S. Marshal Service warrant for smuggling immigrants.
JULY 24
At 10:13 a.m., police responded to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Taylor, 305 Mallard Lane, after an elderly pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that drove off.
The victim died at the scene. The suspected driver was found in the 2700 block of North Drive, arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
JULY 25
At 4:32 a.m., Taylor police arrested a 20-year-old man following a welfare concern in the 200 block of West Third Street after it was discovered he was named in a thirddegree felony warrant for assault on a public servant.
