HUTTO — The Hutto Lady Hippos varsity volleyball team picked up a 3-1 set victory over the Gateway Gators on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Hutto High School.
The Lady Hippos narrowly earned a 25-23 win in the opening set before Gateway evened the match with a 25-23 victory in the second set. Hutto took control in the third and fourth sets, winning 25-16 and 25-15 to open the season with a victory.
Hutto will look to build on the win as it heads to the Westwood Tournament at Cedar Ridge High School this weekend.
