Taylor High School will host its annual Duck Day on Thursday, Aug. 20, as the Taylor Ducks varsity football team takes on Crockett in a scrimmage at 6 p.m.
The event will give parents, students and fans an opportunity to celebrate the start of the school year and show their support.
Members of Taylor Athletics, the color guard, band and high steppers will be on hand throughout the event, with plenty of school spirit planned ahead of the football scrimmage.
The Ducks will take the field against Crockett at 6 p.m. as part of the festivities.
