GRANGER – The Thrall Tigers and Granger Lions varsity football teams faced off in a preseason scrimmage Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Lions Den.
The scrimmage gave both teams an opportunity to get additional work in as they wrapped up the second week of fall practice and continued preparing for the upcoming season.
Thrall enters the season with a more experienced roster, while Granger will rely on several new faces as the Lions prepare for the 2026 campaign.
Granger will open the season Friday, Aug. 28, at home against Louise at 7 p.m. Thrall will also open its season that night, traveling to Hearne for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
