At 9:12 p.m., a 23-year-old man pulled over by police in the 200 block of West Second Street was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
A 46-year-old man was detained in the 100 block of West Seventh Street at 11:51 a.m. for multiple Class C misdemeanor warrants. Officers escorted him to the Taylor Municipal Court where he was released to the staff.
AUG. 15
Officers responded to a theft in progress at 12:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Northwest Carlos G.
Parker Boulevard and arrested a 41-year-old woman. According to police, she has been convicted twice of theft. In this case, the woman was charged with theft of property greater than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
AUG. 16
At 6:42 a.m., an 18-year-old Rockdale woman was arrested for public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor, in the 800 block of East Fourth Street. Officers observed her walking along the roadway, appearing to be unsteady and confused.
