A crane at the Samsung Austin Semiconductor site in Taylor reportedly collapsed Friday afternoon.

According to spokesperson Michele Glaze, a crane fell over at around 1 p.m. April 12 as workers were preparing to potentially repair the machine.

The crane was reportedly cordoned off when it fell, Glaze said.

No one is believed to be injured and the building did not suffer any damages, Glaze said.

The cranes are operated by a third party. Glaze said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is looking into the incident.
