The Taylor Department of Public Safety building is temporarily closed after a van struck the structure Wednesday, Nov. 6.
According to an online post Thursday, Nov. 7, the building had not reopened to the public.
According to reports, the Police Department received a call at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday reporting that a white 2022 Chevrolet van struck the DPS building located at 301 W. Fifth St.
Emergency Medical Services rushed a 65-year-old Jarrell woman identified as the driver to a local medical facility after she suffered non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
No other injuries were reported.
Taylor officials indicated no further information is available at this time.
