TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

APRIL 1

An 18-year-old Taylor man was taken into custody after police at 5:52 p.m. rushed to the 3200 block of Crystal Circle for a report of a disturbance. An investigation indicated the teen is suspected of physically assaulting a member of the household by strangulation. He also initially prevented the victim from calling for emergency services, officers said. The suspected was charged with assault with injury/ family violence-impede breathing, a third-degree felony, and interfering with emergency request for assistance, a Class A misdemeanor.

APRIL 2

A 19-year-old Taylor man was arrested by police at 9 p.m. in the 900 block of West Eighth Street.

According to investigators, he had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault with injury, a Class A misdemeanor.

APRIL 4

A 33-year Sarasota, Florida, man wanted on a warrant out of that city charging him with fraudulent use of information was apprehended at 8:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of Davis Street by Taylor police.

The charge is a first-degree felony under the laws of The Sunshine State.

APRIL 5

A 23-year-old Taylor woman was arrested at 4:49 a.m. in the 500 block of West Seventh Street and charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
