Born and raised in Taylor. My parents’ second child. My sister graduated in 1979, I graduated in 1985. We moved back to Memphis, Tennessee, where my dad was from. He went back to dental school. And then when he graduated in school we moved back to Taylor. 04/23/2022 06:38 AM

Born and raised in Taylor, and a graduate of Taylor High School 1989. I moved to Austin in 1989 then moved back to Taylor in 2001. Moved to Houston at the end of 2001. I stayed there until 2003, moved back to Taylor and started getting involved with the community as soon as I came back. I saw a need for programs for kids. So, me, a neighbor and a friend started a summer camp for a young man. Some of the guys from that summer, camp include Mark, Jackson and Justin and his brother, Dantrell Hargers. 04/23/2022 06:38 AM

his past Saturday, April 16, the city of Taylor celebrated the Easter holiday with its annual easter egg hunt in Heritage Square. Little ones raced across the park to gather eggs filled with treats. The hunts were designated for age groups 0-2, 3-5 and 6-9. Easter egg hunts and events were also held in south Taylor Sunday afternoon.
