Different ‘Odd Couple’ to be in Georgetown
Georgetown Palace Theatre will present, “The Odd Couple: Female Version,” through June 19 at the Palace Playhouse. Neil Simon’s revision of his hugely successful play, “The Odd Couple,” sees the lead characters transformed into Olive Madison and Florence Unger.

Keys of spring
Anita Volek presented her 36th annual spring piano recital May 24 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church in Taylor. Volek opened the program with a medley of songs from “Mary Poppins.” The evening featured a variety of piano solos and duets ranging from pop and movie themes to classical selections.
