FDA: Opioid reversal drug now OTC
For years, a Taylor native has trained people for CPR emergencies. Today, in the wake of the FDA’s approval of opioid reversal drug Naloxone as an over-the-counter medication, he is taking his training a step further to fight the fentanyl crisis as well.

Luminaries on the Square
Luminaries on the Square returns for a second year Friday, April 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Heritage Square, 400 N. Main in Taylor. Everyone is invited to decorate paper bags and set them afloat with a candle inside them as a memorial for all cancer survivors and caregivers. Honor and remember those who won the fight, lost the fight, or are still fighting. The evening will include entertainment, food, and a Luminaria Ceremony. Bring a chair and cheer.
