Coupland Civic Organization Hosts National Night Out
Coupland held its annual National Night Out Aug. 1, which was hosted by the Coupland Civic Organization on the grounds of the historic Depot. “National Night Out is a national recognition and one we observe each first Tuesday in August,” Depot coordinator Barbara Piper said. “The Coupland Civic Organization provided a hot dog supper with all of the trimmings, chips, homemade cookies and nice cool water.” 08/26/2023 04:23 PM

HUTTO – Mayor Mike Snyder received an official reprimand from the city for posting a list of mortgage banks used by council members on social media. Vandalism cuts into local laundromat’s air conditioning
A slice from a butter knife may have caused a local laundromat up to $40,000 in damages. Skyline Laundry, located in the Taylor Plaza Shopping Center, had to temporarily close down due to safety concerns after its air conditioning units went out. 08/26/2023 04:23 PM

Council approves FY ’24 budget
Taylor has a brand-new budget for Fiscal Year 2024, featuring funds for additional emergency services personnel, a 3% cost-of-living increase for staff, an increase in the homestead exemption and plans to get started on a new $53 million municipal building that will house City Hall, the Police Department and Municipal Court. 08/26/2023 04:23 PM
