Lady Ducks basketball active for summer league
The Taylor High School girls’ varsity basketball team was in action on Tuesday night as the Lady Ducks had scrimmages against Lago Vista High School and Bastrop High School. Head coach Lawrence Bailey’s squad was able to get in plenty of reps for the starters and bench players in the two games, which featured summer league rules and two 20-minute halves with a running clock. 06/16/2023 10:14 PM

Taylor hosts annual boys' youth basketball camp
The Ducks hosted its annual boys’ basketball summer camp on June 12–15 under varsity basketball head coach Stephen Gibson. The camp was considered a success and Gibson is very eager to bring the camp back next year with even greater numbers. 06/16/2023 10:14 PM

The Taylor City Council voted to once-again award the four-year municipal mowing contract to Heart of Texas Landscaping, the lowest bidder at $542,201. Wilcott wins City Council Place 5 run-off
HUTTO – Just 2.62% of voters showed up to cast a ballot in the run-off election for City Council Place 5, according to uncanvassed results from the Williamson County Elections Administration.
