Anita Allen Volek has been an active supporter of the Taylor Educational Enrichment (TEE) Foundation since it’s reactivation in 2016. A Granger resident is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean’s list for grades achieved during the spring 2022 semester. In an effort to help collect donations, Chad Tywater, Walmart store manager, was taped to a pole Saturday, July 9. Tywater and other employees were strapped to the pole to raise money for Dell’s Children’s Hospital. Each employee who was taped to the pole had to collect more money than their previous co-worker. Taylor ISD names Teachers of the Year
