TIGERS REIGN SUPERIOR AT UIL CONTEST
Beth Butler leads the Thrall High School Tiger Band at the University Interscholastic League concert and sightreading evaluation on Wednesday, March 2. The band, which includes assistant director Bana Estes, brought home the sweepstakes trophy and all superior ratings. Many of the musicians participated in other activities on the same day, such as reading to elementary kids for Read Across America, golf, regional powerlifting, tennis and track. Taylor Middle School’s band, led by head band director Brianna Perry, traveled to Bastrop this past week for the University Interscholastic League concert and sightreading evaluation. The Taylor Press had an opportunity for anyone to color in images of figures in local or national black history during February. Students make unity bracelets to honor Black History Month
HUTTO – During Black History Month, Farley Middle School students were invited to meet during lunch in the art and science classrooms to make Black History Month Unity Bracelets.
