New Potters Alley art sought
Residents have an opportunity to help revitalize art in a downtown Taylor alley. The Taylor Public Arts Advisory Board, an entity created by the Taylor City Council, is issuing a call for proposals to refresh and add new art to Potters Alley, a brick alley way that extends west off Main Street less than a block north of Second Street.

Active COVID-19 cases in Taylor last week were close to thei lowest recorded numbers. On Monday, March 7, Mayor Brandt Rydell reported Taylor had an estimated 12 active cases of the coronavirus.

Youths leap from bridge after wreck
Four youths suffered injuries — one critically — when they jumped off a bridge after wrecking a car reportedly stolen from Round Rock, Taylor police said. As of Friday, one of the occupants remained in critical condition.
