Danny Joe Mikulencak

Danny Joe Mikulencak, 82, passed away May 25, 2026.

He was born on Feb. 20, 1944, in Taylor, Texas. He married the love of his life, Irene Huff Mikulencak on May 21, 1966.

Danny was a man of great strength, quiet wisdom, and unwavering positivity. He was known for his warm smile, kind heart, quick wit, and steady presence he brought to everyone around him. No matter the circumstances, he faced life with grace, resilience, and an optimism that inspired his family and friends alike.

Above all else, Danny Mikulencak loved his family. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a caring brother whose guidance, humor, and love will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He treasured time spent with family and friends, especially gatherings filled with laughter, stories, and good games of dominoes or cards.

He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, integrity, kindness and love that will continue through the generations of family he cherished so deeply.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Mikulencak; parents, Arthur and Lillie Mae Mikulencak; and in-laws Louis and Frances Huff.

Danny Joe Mikulencak will be greatly missed but forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. He is survived by his children, Jo Ann and Casey Goetz, Sandra and Bill Hasten, and Darrell Mikulencak; sister Pat Daffin; brother-in-law Mike Daffin; brother Charlie Mikulencak; sister-in-law Glenda Huff; grandchildren, Chase and Imogene Goetz, Calah Goetz, Landry Boscamp, Cade Boscamp and Gabby Quinn, Breanna Hasten and Blake Hasten; and three great grandsons Alaric, Alistair and Aldred Goetz, all of whom will carry his memory with love and gratitude.

Visitation was Monday, June 1, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home, 807 NW Carlos Parker Blvd., Taylor, Texas 76574. Funeral Services took place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Providence Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas. Burial followed at Taylor City Cemetery.
