He was born April 4, 1944, in San Antonio, to August and Annie Motloch (Vrana), and was raised in Austin. Henry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, August Sr. and Annie Motloch (Vrana), and his brothers, August Jr. and James Sr.

He is survived by his former wife, Cyndi, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Together, they raised a beautiful family and are survived by their three children: Tina (David), Tracy (Jeffrey), and Troy (Heather). He is also survived by his brother, Raymond; his sister, Frances (Robert).

He was the proud “PaPa” of 22 grandkids and seven great-grandkids.

A church service will be held on July 18, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pflugerville, Texas at 11 a.m.
