Amy Balusek

Amy Keller Balusek, a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved educator, passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 82.

Raised in Bartlett, Texas, Amy went on to spend the majority of her life in Taylor, Texas, where she left an incredible legacy. A passionate and dedicated teacher, Amy served the students and community of Taylor for over 40 years. She leaves a lasting impact on countless families throughout the area. Amy’s true pride and joy was her family, to whom she gave unconditional love, wisdom, and warmth.

Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Balusek; daughter, Coty Little; her parents, Herbert and Rosalea Keller; her brother, Fred Keller, and his wife, Margie.

She is survived by her son, Coy Balusek, and his wife, Deborah; and her son-in-law, Mike Little. Her memory lives on through her four grandchildren: Ryan, Kelliana, Spencer, Gabriella and their spouses, as well as her 7 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Fellowship Taylor, 2900 N. Main St., with refreshments served following the service.
