Taylor sophomore golfer Rylen Darter continued to build on her standout career by finishing fifth overall at the 2026 High School Golf National Invitational in Pinehurst, North Carolina, earning All-Tournament Team honors against one of the strongest fields in the country.
The tournament featured 228 of the nation’s top high school golfers, including state champions from across the United States.
Darter’s top-five finish secured her a place on the All-Tournament Team and also earned her an automatic invitation to compete in next year’s national invitational.
The performance adds another milestone to Darter’s impressive résumé after she captured the UIL Class 4A individual state championship earlier this year. Her showing on the national stage further established her as one of the top high school golfers in the country.
By placing fifth in the elite field, Darter represented Taylor High School among the nation’s best while continuing a remarkable season that included a state title and now national All-Tournament recognition.
