Williamson County middle and high school students are invited to create the 2026 “I Voted” stickers as part of a design contest heading into the Nov. 3 general election.
The competition, sponsored by the county Elections Office, is open to grades six to 12.
Meanwhile, elementary students — kindergarten to fifth grade — can show off their creativity in the “Future Voter” Sticker Design Contest.
The winning elementary design will become the official “Future Voter” sticker distributed to young visitors at polling locations.
This is the first year for both elementary and high school students to participate in the program and the second year for middle school students.
“The expansion reflects growing interest and excitement from students,” elections officials said in a release.
Two winners will be chosen from the middle and high schools category and their artwork will be printed as the official “I Voted” stickers handed out at polling locations during the November balloting.
First-, second- and third-place designs will be selected by a panel of judges from the community. Selections will be based on theme, artistic skill and unique design.
“We love seeing students connect with the election process through art,” said Elections Administrator Bridgette Escobedo. “These contests bring creativity and civic engagement together, and we’re excited to share the work of Williamson County’s young artists with voters this fall.”
To participate, students must agree to the contest rules and submit their design, along with the official sticker template, using the required entry and consent forms.
All materials are available on the Williamson County Elections Department website at wilcotx.gov/elections. Designs may be submitted by email to [email protected], mailed or dropped off in person at the Williamson County Elections Office, 301 S.E. Inner Loop, Suite 104, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
Contest dates to remember are:
• Sept. 4: Submission deadline by 5 p.m.
• Sept. 8: Winners selected
• Oct. 19: Early voting begins, when voters and future voters can pick up the limited-edition stickers at polling locations
