On Sunday, Sept. 10, at 9:30 a.m., New Sweden Evangelical Lutheran Church will host a kick-off event for the new church year at 12809 New Sweden Church Road.

TWO-STEP INTO DONATIONS The yearly Thrall Street Dance fundraiser is back at it again Saturday, Sept. 16 from 6 p.m. to midnight on Main St. in front of the Thrall Fire Department.
Enjoy the thrill of a small town in the transition from summer to fall with live music from Kenny Orts & the No Chance Band, G. Rollie Revival and The Other Band from Thorndale. Admission is free.
There will be fair-type booths, a silent auction and burgers and beer by donation. Proceeds go to the Thrall Volunteer Fire Department Hall and local ESD #10 firefighters.
DINNER WITH THE TAYLOR BAND
At dinnertime Monday, Sept. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., the Taylor Duck Band & Guard will perform at Mr. Gatti’s in Taylor for a fundraising event, 2708 N. Main St.
Part of the meals’ profit goes to fundraising for the band.
