Residents in need of a tax office will need to drive a littler further or go online this week. The Williamson County Tax Assessor/ Collector will close the Taylor Tax Office location, 512 Vance Street, starting Friday, June 24, through Monday, July 4. 06/25/2022 06:30 AM

Burn ban remains in effect
Williamson County is under a burn ban. On June 21, Commissioners Court has issued a county-wide burn ban for a period not to exceed 90 days due to severe drought conditions, above average heat, low humidity, low fuel moistures and high winds that are creating dangerous wildfire conditions that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning. 06/22/2022 06:32 AM

Williamson County and the city of Granger invite the public to a ribbon-cutting for the Davilla Street improvement project.
