Lion's chili supper this Thursday
The Taylor Lions Club will host its annual chili supper this month. The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Taylor SPJST Hall, located at 5025 FM 619. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and continue to 7 p.m. The event will be drive-thru only. Tickets are available for a $10 donation. A limited number of additional tickets will be available at the door. Did you know the Williamson Count Master Gardeners have a demonstration garden in which they plant a wide variety of flowers, vegetables and fruits? Master Gardeners Judy Williams, Dale Hill and Jim Williams will present a free program to discuss the results of recent vegetable trials conducted at the AgriLife Demonstration Garden.
