Area sports summer camps continue next week
Taylor and Hutto will each be back in action next week as the two school districts will host various sports camps for younger athletes. TAYLOR Lady Patos soccer will host two separate camps this upcoming week that will provide individual instruction and team concepts under the Taylor girls soccer program on June 10-11. 06/09/2023 11:49 PM

Anderson, Michna bring home accolades from local sports award ceremony

Lady Ducks basketball camp shows strong future of program
Taylor Independent School District had another successful week of summer activities as the second annual Lady Ducks Youth Basketball Camp under girls varsity basketball head coach Lawrence Bailey went from June 5-8. The four-day camp for the younger group of second through fifth graders went in the auxiliary gym first followed by the older group camp of second through ninth graders afterward in the main gym. 06/09/2023 11:49 PM

Hutto green lights roundabout at FM 1660, County Road 137
HUTTO – In a move that went counter to a public opinion poll the city performed, Hutto council members gave the go-ahead for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of FM 1660 and County Road 137. Quick action by firefighters is being credited for the rescue of two residents trapped on a balcony after a blaze ripped through the upper floor of the Burnett Place Apartments Monday.
